I think virtually any good hard case will do.  But the extra padding of 
bubble wrap and some sort of additional strapping would be well worth it.  I 
tend to use the rectangular King "coffin" case for check on.  I then wrap 
the thing in clear "stick on itself" plastic wrapping.  Hopefully the TSA 
could put some tape on the locks so they don't pop open.  Of course there 
are no guarantees.
