No. Don't forget that the Bible you know has been translated into 
English from Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The following is what Trevor 
Herbert says about this in his book "The Trombone":

The 'sackbut' group (shagbutt, saquabote, sacabushe, and so on) are 
especially important; because from the time they were introduced in 
the fifteenth century they appear always to have described a brass 
instrument with a slide. In 1906 Francis Galpin examined an allusion 
to the 'sackbut' in the Book of Daniel: 'when all the people heard 
the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all 
kinds of musick, all the people, the nations and the languages, fell 
down and worshipped.'  He showed that the use of 'sackbut' in this 
context was based on a faulty translation from the Vulgate edition of 
the Bible. The Geneva translation (1560) initiated the error, which 
was perpetuated in the Authorised Version of 1611 and the Revised 
Version of 1885. A considerable proportion of nineteenth-century 
brass instrument scholarship suffered from the legacy of this error, 
which has its root in a chronic misreading of the word sambuca, now 
known to mean a type of Greco-Roman angle harp (sambuke ). (page 57)

The use of "Posaune" in the German-language Bible also has to be 
taken with a grain of salt for the same reason: faulty translation.
