[Trombone-l] Of new trombone quintets

Likely King James' translators are referring to the sackbut as a temple 
instrument. They probably tried to find an english word for the instrument 
in question and sackbut was the closest thing they came up with. I do not 
know what the original was-possibly a shofar?
