As a newby to this mailing list I am afraid to ask you all for help but what
the heck, you don't know me and probably never will.

Here's the question: I have been asked to put together a trombone quintet
for my local church. Three of the players are very good but two are
mediocre at best. Do any of you have any suggestions for published music
that would keep everyone happy?

I thank you in advance for your help.

PS

As a way of saying thank you here's a little yoke: Three friends were
walking down a county road one evening. One was a Hindu Holy Man, the
second a Rabbi, and the third an alto sax player.

As it was getting late, they decided to walk up to the farm with a light on
and ask for shelter for the night. The farmer said no problem but one of
them would have to sleep in the barn.

The Hindu Holy Man said he would and everyone went to bed.

About 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door and there was the Hindu
Holy Man saying he wouldn't be able to sleep in the barn as there was a cow
in the barn.

The Rabbi spoke up and said "no problem" he would sleep in the barn.

About 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door and there was the
Rabbi, stating he wouldn't be able to stay in the barn overnight as there
was a pig in the barn.

The alto sax man said "no problem". He would sleep in the barn.

About 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door. And there
was...............the pig and the cow.
