Has anyone seen the ad on ebay for a complete instrument overhaul? His
prices are reasonable and he responded quickly to a question that I
sent.
I am considering having him do an Olds Ambassador for me.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents.

I can recommend Dan Oberloh (http://www.Oberloh.com) .. Dan's done work
on my 50B3 and I'm VERY pleased.

Give the shop a call and see what he can do for ya!

I have an Olds Studio Model that I bought new back in "covered wagon
days."
That I would like to consider having re-furbished. The last post had
many
references to re-furbing, and I would appreciate some recommendations
on
reliable shops to send this horn, along with approximate costs, if
available.

The horn still has good slide action, but I would like to get it redone
to
use as a back up to my Bach 16.....Most of my work is combo and big
band
these days...

BTW... Thanks for sharing the Fontana/Rosolino videos..Wonderful...
