[Trombone-l] Air Horn Symphony

Reminds me of a piece I saw on Discovery channel a little while ago where Daniel Barenboim conducts a symphony (dance?) of a dozen or more giant gantry cranes in the former East Berlin. All the cranes "danced" in sync to his cues. Pretty amazing stuff.

  Hey Earl,

I heard an NPR feature, where they interviewed a guy who had actually gotten
together 12 trucks, and arranged a piece for the air horns which was to be
performed at the Super Bowl, I think. I can't remember what piece it
was....not the National Anthem, but they played it and it sounded...pretty
awful. But he should get an E for Effort, and a C for Creativity.

He never got to play it at the Super Bowl...security concerns or some such
nonsense. I think he should do it next year.
