Hello Reinhold. Ron Boerger (list owner of the community-music e-mail list)
has the following line about a brass e-mail list on his "FAQ" page:

"The Brass Mailing List, email:
brass-request at gly.fsu.edu
for more info."

Ron's website is very informative. It is:
http://www.boerger.org/c-m/

The "community-music" e-mail mailing list is meant for community band and
orchestra members.

I've been a member of that list as long as I've been on the trombone list,
or over 9 years now.

It seems that forums are getting more and more popular, especially with
younger players, so a google search on brass forums might help as well.
