funny you should ask that -- i've just taken my horn in to the shop to have a
small crease in the bell worked out (bus driver decided to brake suddenly while
i was just putting the gig-bag down), and my f tuning-slide keeps slipping, so
i've asked him to sort that out as well. he said it could be done, but didn't
mention exactly how -- i can ask him tomorrow when i pick up the horn if you
want. [he did mumble something about expanding tubes and polishing, i'll find
out tomorrow].
