I've ridden/raced bicycles and ridden motorcycles for all of my life and the 
horn just never seemed to be an issue...it just goes where I do, however I'm 
getting there.
On the bicycle and occasionally on the motorcycle, the very old Alteri bag 
works well but catches the air above the helmet at higher speeds.
My preference on the motorcycle, however, is to use my WolfPak case simply 
bungeed across the seat behind me.

I'll echo the earlier sentiments regarding the safety course and also add 
that good riding gear does not mean old jeans and a t-shirt...buy decent 
gear and wear it EVERY time you ride.
