[Trombone-l] Different trombones and different mpces...

That's as may be - I got used to the Elliott 166 setup a long time ago and 
have continued to experiment with bass rims. I used the Laskey 95D [about 
1.20"] for a long time [and that is very close to the 116 {1.16"}]. When I 
tried out the Schilke last December the universal opinion of other players 
was that the Schilke sounded better, so I switched... maybe some day I will 
change my tenor setup, but I don't play tenor that much so...
