There was a big-deal NTSU version back in the early 70s. I remember reading it in grad school, but we never worked it up. (Mont. St.)

He recorded it with a 4 piece back-up group on "The Great Fontana" Uptown
Records UPCD 27.28
a studio recording in 1985. I have no idea whether the recording is still
available. I would love to hear it with Kenton or any big band if that
should turn up.
