Unless that's the point; I think lots of the current fascination with
electronica and looping is the perfection of it, the total control and
unerring repetition.

But seriously, you're right; I have a handful of recordings by real
musicians that are so clean and technically perfect, they lack any
emotive content.  No fun to listen to, except as an example of how NOT
to be musical.
