I like it.  I have it soldered on, though, because it would keep falling off.  It gave me more "core".  I was using it on a Shires, and them moved it to my Thein bell/ Shires slide combination.  The Thein brothers were startled by the difference my slide made compared to other shires slides, and started measuring it, so I think that it must have made a difference!
   
    I used to use one on my tenor, but it got lent or lost.
