Hi Stan, et all,

Per the Selmer Parts Catalog, Drawings 52 & 53, pts 12A & 12B, pt #'s 40080
& 46080.....
It's called the "Lock Ring Assy"

In the Allied Supply Corp. Parts Catalog (probably the largest supplier to
repair technicians), it is referred to, variously, as the "slide lock ring &
hook assy" (Conn), "slide lock ring" (Getzen), "slide lock ring w/hook"
(King), "slide lock ring" (Olds)..... and so forth, ad nauseum.

Why don't we all just agree on "Slide Lock "Thingie""?

Regards to all
