[Trombone-l] Blast from the past with Silver Minick .500

Hi...
I'm a long time subscriber to the trombone-l, first posting way back in the
mid-90's. I had quite a few comments originally, established a number of
friendships, and enjoyed the input and feedback from everyone. I'm a
better player because of it. In the past few years, I've gone into "lurk"
mode and though still enjoying the discussions, have not posted since 2001
or so. Some of you "old-timers" may remember me.
I say all that to establish at least some semblance of credibility so this
doesn't come across as an outsider's marketing scheme. I'm using this
opportunity to ask a quick question and also do a bit of advertising.
The Silver Minick .500 I've had for many years is regretfully going up on
the EBay auction block. In fact, it's already there. (Bottom line, I'm
selling it and sorting out other things to help with the ever increasing
college bills. I own a very nice 2B+ and know it won't bring near what the
Minick will.)
My question is: Having been out of the online loop for awhile, I'm
wondering if there are sites now that accept notifications or messages that
would help me spread the word? I know the trombone.org site has
classifieds and samburtis.com has a forum. Are there other sites I could
use - especially any that might reach Asian or European players/collectors?
Also, I'm open to any comments on the listing itself or any errors there.
I want to be honest without over-hyping, yet still give people an idea of
it's value.
Thanks for any input or advice.
