I have two trombones for sale. They're just collecting dust since
I'm mainly playing 2nd bone in a big band. I need to get a good
small-bore horn, so a trade may be feasible. I may also be looking
for a new Bach 42 slide for my main horn.

The first is a Holton TR140, which is in Holton's professional line.
It has their "monster valve," a 9" red bell, and is .547" bore.
The slide works smoothly when well-lubed, but could probably use a
tune-up. The bell was wrinkled on the show floor and was repaired
before I bought it. It is still quite visible where the crinkle was,
but it plays very well. It's just too big for any of the playing I do
these days. Bach 61/2AL mouthpiece. $600 + shipping.

The second is a Reynolds Contempora single-valve bass. It needs a
little brass/solder work around the valve. The slide works ok.
10" yellow brass bell. .560 (I think) bore. It comes in the
original hard case, includes a stand and a Schilke 59 mouthpiece. $500
+ shipping.

I also have a gig bag that will fit either horn for an additional $75.
I got it with the Reynolds. It is in near-new shape. I can't
remember the brand at the moment and I'm at work.

I'll send out pics and a phone number via email to those that are
interested. I am in the Grand Rapids, MI area if you're local and
want to play either horn.

P.S. I also have my sister's Gemeindhart solid-silver/open-hole/b-foot
flute that's going on Ebay soon. She's shooting for around $400, but
may take offers.
