[Trombone-l] Gabe on Boston Pops July 4 Broadcast

The Greensboro Concert Band (NC) was within minutes of doing the 1812 when the rest of our program was cancelled due to severe lightning and thunder.  I was sorely disappointed.  The sound guy had placed a mike about 4 feet from my bell, not knowing I was playing my Shires;  nor did he know about the FFFF passage in the bass trombone part where the canon shots begin.
