[Trombone-l] Home recording setup

I've been Googling stereo mic setups--This looks interesting:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/AudioTechnica-PRO-24-XY-Stereo-Condenser-Microphone?sku=270607&src=3SOSWXXA

It is an AudioTechnica XY stereo condenser mic for around $80 from
Musician's Friend (a website somehow associated with Guitar Center). Here
you get a mic-stand friendly mic and mount, and a wide frequency range (most
condersers are flatter and wider than dynamics - NOT ALL, but then that is
for an esoteric mic design discussion not a main-stream "go out and grab a
mic" discussion).

I wasn't able to find the site where they sell the T-shape mic that comes
with the Microtrack 24/96 (it is a shrinkwrapped tube in T shape with small
electret elements on two ends with a stereo 1/8" phone plug on the bottom. .
.ready to go).

Chris
