[Trombone-l] Alto Trombone Mouthpiece Advice

Mark -
It sounds like you're on the right track.  I agree
with the comments made so far.  For me, the key is not
to overblow the horn.  So large tenor trombone
mouthpieces usually don't work well on most altos. 
Personnally, I used a Bach 12E for a long time, but
later switched to a 12C.  However, I've used
everything from a Bach 7 to a Bach 15E.  You're list
of mouthpieces offers a good range of sizes and types
to try.  I suggest experimenting with all the medium
to small ones and pick the one(s) you like.
