congratulations. i admire you older gentlemen. we have two people in the band i
normally play in (currently not, due to tmj problems). one of them has been in
the band for 60(!) years. and he comes to rehearsal almost every week, and to as
many of the gigs as he can. the other guy turned 75 this year, and for the past
15 years has kept saying he'll stop when he hits the next round 5. hasn't done
it yet and i hope he's around for a long time yet. he plays trombone, and i feel
honoured to play with him on a regular basis.
those are the oldest two, but we have a few others who are pushing the 70 and
still as active as ever.
hats off to all retired people and older still playing. :) i hope i can still
play when i get there.
regards,
sb
