I have a Bach 6, with a Roman numeral in the model number on the bell
(don't recall if it's 'iv' or some other number), and it's just a Bach
6, from ~1943. Smaller than .509, I believe, more like a .495,
although some Backs from that era were dual-bore. Here's one fellow
who thinks the Roman numeral is a code for the bore of the tuning
slide...
