[Trombone-l] tuner recommendation?

I'd say the Boss TU12

(?  I'm not sure but its the regular "Bb" Guitar/Chromatic model)

. . does pretty good. . .especially nice are the two bright LEDs that both 
light up when you are in the "pocket". . .good for pit use. . .good for 
those of us who will not get glasses not matter how much we need them. . .

9v battery power.  Digital.  First click is EADGBE guitar and next is full 
chromatic and seems good right down to bass bone range. . .(haven't tried 
the Contra range).
