It's all true, unfortunately. The Boss has passed on and like someone said earlier, I'll bet he's rippin' paint with Gabriel. News release at http://www.maynardferguson.com/ <http://www.maynardferguson.com/> .

So break out your copy of Live at Peacock Lane 1956 and play "Goodbye Mr Chops" for The Boss.

I checked that link a while ago and saw the content you duplicated. I
checked again just now and it was updated with the notice of his passing.
Here's to you, Boss.

Note on the September Cancellations:

To all the Friends and Fans:

We just spoke with Maynard and the Doctors regarding some recent health
issues. Doctors would like to see the Boss take the month of September
off and rest. This advice is much to Maynard's disapproval as we all
know his heart is out there with all of you. We will work diligently to
re-schedule Las Vegas and Japan and let you know ASAP when they go back
on the books.

As many of you know, we recently finished our latest studio album at
Bennett Studio's in Engelwood, NJ. Maynard and band were in rare form
with a tremendous selection of tunes and personnel. We will keep you
all updated on the release.

Please know Maynard is in the best possible care and your thoughts and
prayers are certainly appreciated by Maynard and family.

Feel free to send a "Get Well" Card to the Boss.
