The Jupiter 740 bass bone isn't a copy of something--it does feature
attributes from several models. the horns, which certainly had some
issues in the beginning, have improved greatly since their
introduction both in durability and in design features. While they
don't yet claim to be creating professional grade instruments, this
horn plays quite well and is certainly a few K cheaper than some
other options. It is quite suitable for most all situations--it
doesn't play like an Edwards, but it's certainly loads cheaper.
