I can't endorse the Slide Dr. because his home page has a disclaimer in
the fine print that says he takes no responsibidly for what I attempt
wit' ma channel locks & ratchet straps while consumin' vast quantities
of Milwaukee's Best Light or Schlitz!
How can I put my trust in a guy like that! I ask you!?
Guess'n ah better git a new pair o' vise grips!
On a serious note: good repair guys are priceless! Considering all the
repairs/overhauls I've had done over the years, the cost still doesn't
add up to a 'lectric geetar & hi-fangled amplifier system! And most
guitar players I know break their sh#@$# right out of the box. No lie:
a good guitarist I work with bragged about his brand new $1100 Marshal
to no end & blew it up on the very 1st rehearsal. 'Nuff said.
Cheers!
