I think I'm insulted, but I'm not sure. I can't tell whether you're
saying that I could be even better if I practiced more (undisputable,
for anyone on this list), whether you're agreeing that I would not
have gone far with a different teacher (maybe, maybe not), or you're
trying to say I haven't gotten very far at trombone playing even with
the teachers I had (which I dispute, and which is kind of slimy to
make me defend). I'm happy to confess that I could have spent more
time practicing trombone in college, but that's not really the point
of the embouchure thread (or of this listserv), I don't think.

I remember trying out his embouchure theories without much success.
What else I remember about the clinic is probably best left for
another thread.
