As a member of an engineering team, working at the American sister company
of a British company, I can tell you. We scurry around, working all hours
of the day and night, with very little vacation time and no particular
reason to spend any time at a pub. Pubs, here, have no Guinness on tap and
relatively bad food, even relative to British food.

Instead of going to the pub, we drink something, which tastes like beer
flavored mineral water, in large quantities, while watching the most
dreadful swill on TV.

Considering that, we should be considered a Stupor Power, not a Super Power.

And we do it all because of the American Dream, which specifically states
that if we slave today, we’ll have a better lot in life, tomorrow. Now I’ve
never actually seen any evidence to support it, but that’s what drives us,
nonetheless.

Any other questions?
