Perhaps the most important aspect of bucket use is that the whole section uses the SAME bucket and achieves the (approximate) same sound. A forgotten mute sound is the derby on a stand. No dropping, scratching of the bell and frantic changes. Again, if the whole section uses it, the sound is great.
