psychology, with which many of you might not be familiar. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C2340">First is a new course not taught here in a long time, Industrial/Organizational Psychology (I/O). This is the fastest growing field in all employment according
to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. I/O asks the questions of how people work together, get along in organizations, and grow and organization through human resources and training. This course is open to all majors and class-levels, even as a 400-level course,
with only PSYC101 as a pre-requisite. Here is the description:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C2340">An introduction to the field of Industrial/Organizational (I-O) Psychology, including major theories, practical applications, and research in the field for organizations.
Special attention will be paid to the history and methods of the fields of both industrial psychology (e.g., personnel selection, training and development, and performance appraisal) and organizational psychology (e.g., work motivation, justice, leadership,
and stress).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C2340">These skills would benefit anyone in any job, but also might help you find a new passion in a fast-growing area of psychology. The instructor has been working in
I/O for many years and is a warm, knowledgeable instructor who brings plenty of pragmatic skills to bear in the classroom.

major and class level to enroll, as long as they have already taken PSYC101. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C2340">Dr. Robert J.F. Elsner MWF 10:30-11:35 | CRN: 73951 Prerequisite: PSYC 101 An in-depth study of the problems which affect the elderly in our society. The social,
psychological, physical, economic, and spiritual problems which affect the quality of life for the elderly will be examined. In addition, an exploration of the social role of the aged individual in social institutions such as the family and the church is taken.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C2340">Finally, a restricted course for Junior level students with at least eight hours of psychology credit beyond PSYC101 due to its intensity and popularity is Child
Clinical Psychology. This course is already full to capacity, but we will be offering it again due to its popularity.
