Beloved students (and faculty & staff),

I hope that your summer has been full of rest, relaxation, and fun. I am excited about the coming year here at Samford, and hope that those of you returning are also ready! For those who graduated, I do hope that you are prepared and in process of moving to the next amazing places.

I was asked to forward the below link about the NAMI-Alabama Annual Meeting. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness and is a strong advocacy group. There is an option for students to register for a reduced fee of $5, and you can pay at the conference. While not a scholarly meeting, it could be of benefit to those interested in learning more about the field and the populations with which some of you will work.
