[Psycdept-l] Preview Days

Dear Rob,

I can take one of the dates in November.  Either works for me, so just let me know. Also, I ran into Dora Ditchfield from the Career Development Center the other day.  She said the Major Connections Fair will be held this year. You may be aware of this event already, but it is an opportunity for undecided students to learn about the various majors and minors. Each department has a table with information and decorations/displays to “show off” their disciple.  It is on Oct. 14 from 9:30-11:15 (https://www.samford.edu/departments/career-development-center/events/). We usually try to have a couple faculty at the table to answer questions. I teach at 11:00 that day, but I can help setup and be there until 10:30ish.  Thanks!

Beloved colleagues,

I hope that you are having an amazing second week of classes!

We have the schedule for Preview Days from Admissions, and I wanted to give an opportunity for any of you who would like to take a day. If not, I will cover them as part of my learning the department, university, and our relationship with the Admissions Office.

The preview days are September 25, October 23, November 6, November 20. Each Department  will be set up by 11:30 in the Pete Hanna Center (basketball arena) from 12-1pm for all preview dates. If you would like one of those days, please let me know immediately, as we need to get them the representatives’ names no later than September 17th.
