Beloved colleagues,

Dean Hall sent the following for all Chairs to begin a planning process for a Chair Retreat in less than two weeks. In order to best represent you, I would like to get your feedback on the following. Please be brutally honest with the responses so I make sure that your voice is fully heard. I will consolidate and anonymize responses.

In this tool, we ask four simple questions: What is right? What is wrong? What is confused? and, What is missing? These questions serve as a "GPS" and help identify the current location of Howard College of Arts and Sciences.

What's Right? What can you celebrate?
What's Wrong? These are the things that need to change.
What's Confused? What is a bit "foggy" or unclear?
What's Missing? What do you need to add?

Try to give 3-5 bullet points for each of these questions and email me your responses no later than Tuesday, September 14th.  We will use this list as a reference to begin our conversation on September 16-17th.

If you could get me your responses by the preceding Friday (10th), it would make life easier. Thanks so much for the help in serving you and the department. You can email them to me directly, or even print them out and slide them under my door if you want.
