<p class=MsoNormal>The DW4.0.7 Patch/Upgrade for DegreeWorks was released
9/1/10.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I’ve downloaded the release, installation, technical,
& users guides and have placed them on the W: drive under the following
path:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#7030A0'>W:\Workgroups\DegreeWorks\Technical
& User Guides<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>(I’ve moved all previous groups of technical/user
guides to within this folder, separated by patch/upgrade version.)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>SGHE has begun a new naming convention for the documents—a
requirement, apparently, to incorporate the DegreeWorks docs into the SGHE
organizational structure. Personally, I don’t care for it, but it’s
not my call.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Old document names were as follows: <span style='color:#C00000'>DGW_Technical_Guide_UCX_DW406.pdf</span><span
style='color:#0070C0'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>New document names are as follows: <span style='color:#C00000'>dw40007ucxtg.pdf<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>They are only renaming docs when changes are made, but they
renamed most of the ones for DW4.0.7. So…I renamed them using the
old convention. Since I consult them a lot, I find it much easier to
identify the guide I need. I’ll try to rename them in future upgrades,
but we might want to get familiar with the new convention anyway. I’ve
copied the files with their NEW names to a folder labeled: <span
style='color:#7030A0'>Z-DW4.0.7 New Files-Abbreviated File Names (xtra)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

registration and when the class schedule will be available through the

more heavily used once advising for Jan Term & Spring begins in earnest.
The calendar is available in both Excel and PDF.<o:p></o:p></p>

include the Athletic Eligibility Audit (as well as a new ATHL user class),
expanded custom search fields under FIND, and the ability for users to run a
new audit from the Notes page after adding/modifying a note (this will be tied
to a new SHPCFG key). There’s also supposed to be a new feature
that allows certain users to “freeze” an audit, add a description,
and delete an audit from the History Tab (some of this is done in Transit but
some of this can be done from the Web, but are also related to new SHPCFG keys—which
we can control).<o:p></o:p></p>

access to the Customer Support Center, you see this after logging in, clicking
