back, handouts from DegreeWorks-related presentations at Summit 2008 and Summit
2009 were placed in the DegreeWorks folder on the W: drive. Today I was
looking through old DegreeWorks listserv e-mails and discovered some more
conference presentations that might be of interest, from the November 2008
DegreeWorks Symposium at Vashon Island.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>So...I've
collected all of these conference documents into a new folder under DegreeWorks
labeled "<b>Conference Docs</b>," but separated by conference and
year. Everything is in PDF format (except for an older Word file related
to a 2007 Webinar). Here’s the path: <span style='color:#0070C0'>W:\Workgroups\DegreeWorks.</span>
(The PDF labeled The DegreeWorks Community provides the names of the
various people who worked with DegreeWorks at SunGard back in Nov 2008.
Although a few of those people are no longer there, others remain, and it might
be helpful to know their names.)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>The
presentations from the November 2008 DW Symposium also have an arf component
(audio recording, some w/the presentation document included). However,
these are HUGE files (collectively, they’re over 400 MB, the smallest
file is 14MB). I downloaded them to my hard drive, but I'm not placing
them on the W: drive. If anyone is really interested in listening to them,
let me know. I doubt I'll ever listen to them myself, but I decided to
save them just in case someone one day says....hey, you should have caught this
session in November 2008 when we discussed such and such, etc.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Some
of the items at the Nov 2008 conference may have been covered again at Summit
2009, and some of the info may be considered old (since this symposium was held
shortly after DW 4.0 came out but before DW 4.0.1 was released), but the
documents are preserved nonetheless. Scrolling through the PDFs might be
a good refresher for some.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
