how DegreeWorks will work w/Banner 8 and Cathy mentioned the UTF8 character set
might impact it. For now it looks like that shouldn’t be a problem,
since DegreeWorks won’t be fully “internationalized”—at
least not yet. But it may be something we have to look at more carefully
in a future upgrade.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

We did some benchmarking at an HP lab the summer before last using their Integrety
servers and I am attaching the results of those. This may not be exactly
what they want but should give some idea of how one system performs with a

with Banner 8 but does nothing with the UTF8 character set. In other words we
are not fully internationalized. That is on the Product Road Map for a release
sometime next year but may be moved up. Regardless, we did expand our fields to
meet the corresponding Banner database fields and DegreeWorks will work
alongside of Banner 8 just fine.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
