Since we plan to upgrade to at least DW 4.0.5 in April, we may need this critical patch.  If we wait until DW 4.0.6 is released (exact date in April unknown at this time), then the defect will very likely be fixed in that version.  But I wanted everyone to be aware of the defect anyway, so that we can be sure to test the instance of two different audits being run at the same time to see if we experience the problem as reported in the defect noted below.  I'm not aware that we have encountered this problem on DW 4.0.1 in PROD or DW 4.0.3 in TEST, although it's possible.  So, maybe we're okay for now.

Defect 1-ATO4DV fixes a problem where a different student's information can be pulled into another student's audit when audits are run at same time.  The problem was isolated to one C source file (dap09s.c).

Customers running the DW4.0.5 version of the software should download and install the DW4.0.5.1-ATO4DV patch, available through the Customer Support Center, Software Downloads area.  The patch file and "Readme" file can be found in the DW4.0.5 Critical Patch subfolder.

Customers on versions prior to DW4.0.5 should review FAQ# 1-AVEE93 for information on how to address this issue for their release.
