Important note about DW4.0.6:
The Java JDK 1.6 is required before installing DW.4.0.6.  This was not accurately documented in the initial release of DW4.0.6, but as of 4/27/2010, these docs have been updated to reflect this requirement:

DGW_ReleaseGuide_DW406.pdf

If you are applying DW4.0.6 and you are getting compile errors (step #5 of the update), it is likely that your jni* programs are not compiling.  These jni* programs require the Java JDK.
