[Degreeworks-l] Computer & Software Upgrades in CTS Training Room (Samford)

FYI: 

Just wanted to share this with the Samford DegreeWorks Listserv.  

 

The computers in the CTS Training Room should be fine for our use for
the first DegreeWorks Training session next week: November 11-13.
Scribe, SureCode and Transit (all components of DegreeWorks) were loaded
onto those machines when the Project Launch/Technical Training took
place on October 21-22.

 

However, since the machines will be replaced at the end of November,
that same software will have to be reloaded onto the new computers prior
to the next round of DegreeWorks Training (January 6-8).  Just wanted to
mention this so that we can make sure the CD with the software is
available on or before January 6.  (Samford re-opens after the New
Year's Break on January 5.)

Subject: Training Room Computer Change-outs

 

Since this group makes heavy use of the training room, I need to make
you aware of the following:

I've asked Vickie to block off the last 2 weeks in November to change
out the Computers in the training room.  The computers have to be ready
to ship back to the leasing company by the end of November.  

Any customer software you have installed or requested to be installed on
these computers will need to be re-installed when the new computers are
put in place.
