Auburn University at Montgomery seeks an Emerging Technologies Librarian to develop and implement new technologies to enhance user experience along with serving as webmaster for the AUM Library website. The desired applicant must have a proven record of researching, creating, and applying emerging technologies in the academic library setting. We encourage applicants who have experience with website development, mobile site/mobile app creation, and SpringShare products to apply.

This position is a probationary, tenure-track faculty appointment characterized by assignmentsinvolving independent task assessment, problem solving, and interactions with various interest groups. A high level of motivation and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment is a must.

Appointment to the rank of Librarian II is based on demonstrated abilityand potential. The individual must exhibit the aptitude for successful performance, professionalgrowth, and the ability to achieve promotion and tenure.

Employment is on a 12-month basis, with 20 days annual leave and competitive, standardbenefits.
