Wi-Fi - CONVENTION WIDE!
In 2013, complimentary Wi-Fi was only available in the hotel portion of the convention; and limited to only attendees who were hotel guests. This year, as part of your registration fee, we are happy to provide ALL convention attendees (hotel guests and non-hotel guests) with complimentary Wi-Fi. More details will be provided at the event but we wanted everyone to know about this addition before arriving!

Daily Continental Breakfasts & Coffee/Snack Breaks - FREE!
This year, the ALLA Convention is providing a free continental breakfast every morning of the Convention (April 19, 20th, and 21st). There will also be free coffee and snack breaks throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday.

Librarian Lounge - NEW!
For the 2017 ALLA Convention, attendees can relax in the Librarian Lounge. Located in the Exhibit Hall, the Lounge will have soft seating, six charging stations for electronic devices, and games, crafts, etc. The Lounge will also be where we will serve breakfast, refreshment breaks, and hold our daily door prize drawings.

Alabama Author Award Winners & Book Signing
We are pleased that Watt Key (Juvenile Award - Terror at Bottle Creek); Ash Parsons (Young Adult Award - Still Waters); Kim Cross (Nonfiction Award - What Stands In A Storm); and Yaa Gyasi (Fiction Award - Homegoing) will be attending in person to receive their various awards. **All award winners will be signing copies of their books on Wednesday, April 19, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall**
