color:black'>By now you have probably heard that Dean Taylor has accepted the
presidency at Whitworth University. On Friday, April 16, I was honored to be
appointed interim dean for the Brock School of Business effective at the end of
the spring semester. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:10.0pt'><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:black'>Under Dean Taylor’s leadership, the school has experienced many
milestone achievements including the renaming of the school in honor of long-time
trustee Harry B. Brock, Jr. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work
alongside Dean Taylor as the associate dean during his time at Samford. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:10.0pt'><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:black'>I want to assure you that the entire faculty and staff at the
Brock School of Business remain steadfast in our commitment to
students and to fulfilling the mission and vision of the Brock School
of Business. Our faculty currently are discussing new
initiatives and improvements to both our MAcc and MBA programs. We are
considering new electives, additional international travel
opportunities, limited concentrations, and a CPA review course just
to name a few.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
