BSOB Graduate Students,


Late last week I informed the faculty and staff of the BSOB that I was stepping down as Dean effective 6/30/25 and returning to the Brock School faculty teaching Entrepreneurship and Management classes following a sabbatical in the fall.



After 8 years as Associate Dean, 2 years as Interim Dean, and 4 years as Dean I'm ready to serve the BSOB and graduate students like you in a different way - as a full time Professor.



Dr. David Cimbora, Samford's Provost and VP for Academic Affairs will name an Interim Dean prior to 6/30/25 and there will be a national search during the 25-26 academic year for a permanent Dean that will start 7/1/26.



It has been an honor to serve as Dean during your time in the Brock School.



Good luck with the rest of this semester - finish strong - your faculty and staff are cheering you on!
