Samford Football Operations is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant to join their Equipment Department, with the position available for immediate filling. The role will cover 9 credit hours per semester and offers valuable experience.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Football Equipment Graduate Assistant is to assist in coordinating daily activities related to football equipment operations. This includes managing the receipt and distribution of athletic equipment and supplies, overseeing the laundering of equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Required Qualifications:
Must be in good academic and social standing and currently enrolled in a graduate program at Samford University.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, and work well as part of a team.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Must possess a strong attention to detail and be capable of working independently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in athletics (not required).
Experience working or volunteering with college-aged students.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Additional Benefits:
The selected candidate will receive 9 credit hours per semester, totaling 18 credit hours per year, paid by the athletics department.
