[BusinessGrad] The Caf, Food Trucks and More!

Good morning!

Samford has been busy this summer with the renovation of the University Center.  The Caf has reopened while a complete renovation of the first level (food court, post office, bookstore, Harry's, Washington Court and the Annex) and a new student commons on the second level continues.

The Caf once again offers full service and normal operating hours but access is available only from Ben Brown Plaza.  The west entrance is closed.  Entrance and exit lanes, two countertop registers and portable swipe registers will expedite entry into the Caf.  While the food court is offline, a daily array of food trucks including Chick-Fil-A, Steak 'n Shake and Simply-to-Go/Hissho Sushi/Boar's Head Deli will be located central to the University Center.  The food trucks will accept Bulldog Bucks and Dining Dollars.  Beginning August 27th, the food trucks will be open Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  As a reminder, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Freshens, and the Smoothie Bar at PHC (which will feature an expanded menu) remain open and ready to serve.  The food court is scheduled to be open for the spring semester.

The bookstore has temporarily relocated to the ground level of the Dwight & Lucille Beeson Center (formerly the Center for Healing Arts).  It occupies several rooms and the entrance is directly across from Siebert Hall on Dawson Drive.  It will return to the University Center during the spring semester.  The post office is temporarily relocated in Room 215 along the south corridor of Brooks Hall and likewise will return to the University Center in the spring semester.
