[BusinessGrad] Southern Company Spring Internship Deadline Oct. 25

Southern Company in Birmingham, Alabama will be conducting interviews for Spring 2014 intern positions in Internal Auditing and Internal Controls & Compliance.  Students are to apply through www.hiresamford.com<http://www.hiresamford.com>.

Candidates should be dependable, hardworking, and flexible with job responsibilities.  Hours may vary but should be in the 30 - 40 hours per week range during the regular work week (M-F, 8:00-5:00).  The candidate should expect to graduate by May 2015, possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have a major in Accounting or Finance. (Masters level candidates are invited to apply as well)

The candidate should be proficient in Micro Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), detail oriented and analytical.  The candidate must have strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Internship requires (in progress) a bachelor's or master's in accounting or finance.

Deadline for application is Friday, Oct. 25.
