BUSA 590 - Economic Development of Britain
January Term - 2014
Unquestionably, international trade and business is becoming more important every day. The classical Greek philosopher Plato advocates that it is through travel that we begin to understand our outside world. The Brock School of Business offers graduate business elective courses such as BUSA 590 to provide graduate students with an opportunity to travel and study abroad. The "London Course" is an excellent means for graduate students broaden their world and begin to gain or extend their international perspective of business. This course formally meets for one week in London and also requires students to work independently on an international business course project.
This course (BUSA 590) counts towards your required business elective credit for either the MBA or MAcc degrees. In addition, the course counts as 3 of the 9 credits needed for a concentration in International Business which can be earned with the MBA degree.
To learn more about this opportunity, you are invited to attend an informational meeting about the "London Course" with Dr. Reburn on Monday, February 18th from 5:00 to 5:30pm in DBH 213.
