[BusinessGrad] Important financial aid information

As summer draws to a close and we all begin turning our attention to the fall semester, I invite you to review the important dates listed below and consider utilizing Samford University's new interest free Payment Plan. All the details you need concerning the plan may be found at www.samford.edu/financialaid/paymentplan/<http://www.samford.edu/financialaid/paymentplan/>.

Financial Aid Disbursement Dates

-        Students who begin class on August 12th will have their aid begin disbursing on August 2nd.

-        Students who begin class on August 19th will have their aid begin disbursing on August 9th.

-        Students who begin class on August 26th will have their aid begin disbursing on August 16th.

E-bill Generation Date and Payment Due Dates

-        E-bills will be generated on August 12th for all students. Your e-bill will be available on the e-bill website<https://secure.touchnet.com/C20180_tsa/web/login.jsp>.

-        All students are required to pay in full by August 26th, unless you choose to participate in the new interest free payment plan. **A late fee will apply to those who do not make payment in full by this date or are not enrolled in the payment plan.

-        If you participate in the payment plan, 50% of the net amount due after aid has disbursed will be due by August 26th.

-        If you participate in the payment plan, the remaining 50% due after the first payment will be due in two equal installments on September 25th and October 21st.

Payment Plan Enrollment Dates

-        Payment Plan Open Enrollment for all students begins August 19th and closes on August 26th. ($95 enrollment fee applies)

-        Payment Plan Late Enrollment for all students begins August 27th and closes September 6th. ($150 enrollment fee applies)

Payment Extension Dates

-        Due to the University offering a payment plan, there will not be an additional opportunity to apply for a payment extension as there has been in the past.

-        Enrollment in the payment plan will serve as a payment extension and your class schedule will remain intact, so long as the requirements of the payment plan are met.
