Dear Brock School of Business Students,


On Friday, a monumental step in the continued growth and development of our business school took place.  At the Samford Business Network Breakfast, Samford and Brock alumnus Mr. Gary Cooney pledged at least $12.5 million to the Brock School of Business which will allow us to move forward towards construction of a new, state-of-art business school building. We anticipate raising the additional funds needs towards an approximately $25 million state-of-the-art business building by the end of 2013, so that actual construction can begin next spring.  For those early in their enrollment, I am sure this news brings great anticipation for completing your business studies in the new facility.  For those closer to graduation, rest assured that this new home for the Brock School of Business will enhance the value of your degree and offer the chance to continue to interact both personally and professionally for many years with the faculty and staff so invested in your education.
