Position: Part-time research analyst
Industry: Finance - Investment Banking
Overview: A boutique investment bank is seeking a part-time analyst to assist in a targeted business development project.  The position will be assisting the Director of Business Development in identifying markets, qualifying leads, and managing the communication and follow up process with those leads.  It will be research intensive position and the applicant can expect to spend a significant amount of time on the computer querying databases and qualifying data.  Once the project is complete, there may be an opportunity for additional work to be performed on further projects but this is not guaranteed.
The ideal candidate will contain the following:

*         A desire to get exposure in the financial industry and specifically investment banking

*         Strong analytical, detail-oriented work ethic

*         Creative and process-oriented approach to problem solving

*         Strong understanding of Microsoft products and the ability to quickly learn new database systems

*         Strong verbal & written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings
