Mr. Harper, I enjoyed speaking with you earlier today about the internship position that our company is looking to fill this summer.  Our company is involved in commercial real estate management and development, particularly focused in the hospitality industry.  The internship will be for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the intern's schedule, and can accommodate a part-time/flexible schedule.

 

In brief, this position will be asked to assess and provide recommendations for several areas of our business.  The scope will include review and analysis of current operating financials, investment and loan structure, operating costs, marketing initiatives, management and staffing efficiency and valuation of multiple assets.  The intern will work directly with the ownership, but be expected to gain a hands-on understanding of all levels of our company.

 

It is our desire that this internship be mutually beneficial.  We hope to gain additional insight from a capable business student.  However, we hope to also provide this person with opportunities to meet others in the industry, have a meaningful and practical experience within a small business and gain a valuable reference.
